Pricing is based off of a way one trip and our handler's time from pick up to drop off or pass off. If we are staying with your pet;  please book the total time you need from pick up, wait time, and drop off. Any overages because of third party issues or traffic will be billed at $1 per minute.

I cannot speak highly enough of Luigi, Allison, and Pups and Recreation. I have two ornery, older Great Danes who are skittish and have very specific needs. Alison and Luigi have been wonderful with them, taking the time to get to know them and to make sure their needs are understood and met. We’ve used Pups and Recreation for walks, check-ins, and overnights and I always know that they will go above and beyond in caring for them. The first time we left them, my nervous female had stomach trouble and Allison kept me fully updated, going out of her way to make rice for her and thoroughly clean up after her. Luigi and Alison watched our dog for 2 nights in March 2024. It was easy to plan the stay as they were responsive, very easy to work with, and answered our many questions. They were on time and took great care of our dog, giving updates along the way and of course sent photos ☺️ We had a bit of a hiccup when our dog wouldn’t come back in the house (from the fenced in backyard) during the drop-in visit and they went above and beyond to get her back in the house safely and stay with her to decompress once she eventually came back in. We’re so grateful for the great care they gave our dog and I would recommend them. Thank you!!

I am so grateful I found this place. I have always been hesitant about trusting anyone else with my fur child but immediately after talking to Luigi and meeting Alison- I knew I found the right people. Both of them, as well as the other walkers who work there, have been amazing for my dog. I love that they send pictures too!! Pet Taxi FAQS

Do you offer pet taxi for boarding drop-offs and airport-day travel?

Yes. If you are heading out of town and need someone to get your dog to their boarding facility (or bring them home when you land), we handle that all the time. Just book through the app and we coordinate the whole thing.

How much does the pet taxi service cost?

Pet taxi is billed based on the round-trip time and mileage from your home. Most local Morris County trips (vet, groomer, daycare) come out very reasonable, and we quote you the flat rate upfront through the app before you book. No surprise fees.

Are you insured to transport pets in your vehicle?

Yes. Every Pet Care Provider is covered under our commercial liability insurance while transporting pets, and we use proper crates or safety harnesses in the vehicle. Your pet is secured the entire ride.

Can you take my dog to the vet if I cannot get off work?

Yes, this is one of the most common reasons clients book pet taxi. We pick up your dog, transport them to the vet, stay for the appointment if you want us to (or drop off and return), and bring them home. We can also relay information to and from your vet through our app.

What is your pet taxi service?
