Our Causes

Save the Satos

Save the Satos focuses on changing the lives of the stray dogs "Satos" of Puerto Rico. Rescuing the unwanted, adoptable dogs of the island and transporting them to Wharton, New Jersey. Over 650,000 Satos live on the streets of an island no bigger than Connecticut. Every year they organize a Trap Neuter and Release Mission to the island to help curb the population growth of this ever worsening problem. Some of the best dogs we’ve ever known were Satos, and we even have gone with to help and adopted our dog Barry off the streets of Salinas, Puerto Rico.
